The title stems from Jesus’ description of Heaven as “My father’s house” and looks at the work Christian people are called to do on their way there, while still on Earth in their present life. God gifts each one a special ability to serve Him in a unique way, and this relates to the common tools a tradesman uses in his day-to-day work. In this case, as a mechanic, I found that any tool I use has an equivalent in a spiritual gift. There are not just a few gifts, as many Christians appear to think, but many, like a a tradesman’s collection of tools.
